21Days

It takes 21 days to form a new habit.

First a little background on the project in case you’ve joined us recently. I dove into this rather quickly and had to make a choice between keeping things timely and perfection. Since nothing is ever perfect, I went with being on time. Details will improve as it progresses. Example: Thank you card… no time to do anything custom but that is in the works. If you’ve already received yours, it was off the rack…sorry about that…I still love you. Even the stamps are a detail. Having had a few less than great experiences at the Post office recently, I thought ‘Wow, I can just order stamps online.’ That’ll be super easy. Right! I placed my order on Jan 3rd for some good looking stamps. Now, am I expecting too much? I figured since it’s the Postal Service who makes them and delivers them, it should be pretty quick. After all, my wife orders jewelry parts from China, gets them in a few days and at dirt cheap postage rates. Today, Jan. 28th, I received them. 25 days! No wonder they’re going out of business.

Anyway, back to the task at hand. I headed into the studio this morning to check in on a toddler birthday party that Guy was throwing for his son, Schaffer. Fun stuff! But, on the way there, I stumbled upon a group of ‘Occupiers’ who had walked to Atlanta from Washington, DC and were making their final stretch to downtown to join the Occupy Atlanta group and end their journey.

Our portrait today is of “Kid”.

Thank-you goes out to one of the Good Thinking Atlanta team. Still playing the 3-stringer.

    Tune in again tomorrow!
